PROJECTS & MASTERCLASSES

In addition to her mastery and interest in the German, French, and English-American Lied repertoire, which she has explored in various projects, Thérèse Lindquist has been a dedicated proponent of the Lieder of women composers und has accompanied Liederabende and given lectures on this subject in many international festivals and symposiums. Under the title „Eine exklusive Gesellschaft“ (An exclusive Society), she recently presented a well- received master class for singers and Lied duos at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna). Thérèse Lindquist has also dedicated herself to the performance of Lieder by Jewish composers, such as the critically acclaimed CD of the Lieder of Max Kowalski (Wolfgang Holzmair, Bridge Records) and a recent master class with the Lieder of Viktor Ullmann at The Jerusalem Academy of Dance and Music. Here is a selection of concerts and projects conceived and directed by Thérèse Lindquist:

2018

A series of master classes, workshops, and lectures on the music of Viktor Ullmann, an Austrian composer who was murdered in Auschwitz. Thérèse Lindquist gave a multi-day master class for Lied-Duos (pianists and singers) on the Lieder of Viktor Ullmann. The final concert was performed by the students of The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
